'Disable Visual Themes' for the Coabis shortcuts.

Due to the above compatibility issues, third-party service providers are strongly recommended to consult both their Client and Coabis Support prior to providing hardware with Windows Vista for use with Coabis. If in doubt, Windows 2000 or Windows XP should be provided.

Coabis should not be used with Windows Vista unless the Client master database has been upgraded to Oracle v10.2.0.3.

Windows Requirements

Installation of latest operating system patches to ensure all Windows DLL, OCX, etc. files are up-to-date.
Read Access to the following Windows registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oracle
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.DOC; .XLS; .DWG
This reads the shell execute path, to which read-only access is also required - e.g.Word.Document.8\shell\command.
Full Control of the following Windows registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Coabis

Power Supply

When using Coabis at any location with a potential for fluctuations in mains power, it is recommended that, where regulations allow, the computer equipment and video units are connected to a surge protector and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
