Description of Problem:
When replaying video clips on workstation (either inside our outside of Coabis), audio can be heard but no image is shown – display remains black.
Checks:
If you are trying to replay Coabis digital video and hearing audio only with a black display, then it is likely that you do not have the correct video codec installed on your PC.
For users with MPEG2-encoded digital video, there are many MPEG2 codecs available on the internet.
You
can download an MPEG2 codec from here.
When installing this codec, choose the defaut installation options apart from
'Do you want to associate the application with supported file types?' - answer
'No' to this question. After installation, MPEG2 video files should play within
Windows Media Player.
