Talisman Energy UK converts to Coabis!

Over the past year the Aker Solutions Coabis team have been working hard to transfer Talisman Energy UK's corrosion management data from a competitor product, ACET, into the latest version of Coabis.

The newly-released edition of Coabis offered Talisman a more streamlined tool for managing the vessel and piping data for all of their North Sea assets.

Coabis already manages the subsea and topsides structures integrity management for Talisman Energy UK, and it was a logical step to transfer their piping and vessel integrity data into Coabis. There are a number of benefits for Talisman by consolidating data into the Coabis. The Coabis team have worked extremely hard with Talisman Energy UK's inspection partners, CAN, to ensure the transition to Coabis was a smooth as possible.

Talisman Energy UK's Buchan Alpha asset was recently independently audited on its approach to asset integrity, of which Coabis is a central part, and received very positive feedback with regard to its use of the tool.
