INEOS Manufacturing Scotland to evaluate Coabis at Grangemouth

Aker Solutions is pleased to announce that INEOS Manufacturing Scotland has chosen to carry out a 'proof of concept trial' for Coabis on the integrity and corrosion management of their Grangemouth Refinery facilities. The evaluation is to be on a representative area of the refinery, with a view to implementing Coabis site-wide should the evaluation prove successful and beneficial to INEOS. The evaluation begins in July and is expected to be of approximately three months duration.

INEOS is Europe's leading independent crude oil refinery processing more than 410,000 barrels of crude oil per day, to produce in the region of 19 million tonnes of fuels per annum. Grangemouth is directly connected to the Forties oil field system in the North Sea and also imports other crudes from around the world.
