The Coabis Planning module is used to generate
workpacks. A workpack is a collection of tasks applied to components.
There is no limit to the number of workpacks, nor to their size.

Workpack generation can be performed by any
end-user given the security access to do so. Once generated, workpacks
can be easily edited and fine-tuned.
The integral cost code function ensures that
the correct workpacks belong to the correct internal cost codes
(or Job Numbers). This interfaces with their internal procedures,
again providing consistency throughout the process.
Coabis Transactions are used to export the
workpacks to remote work sites, such as dive support vessels. Any
form of data transfer can be utilised by Coabis Transactions, although
email is the most popular. Once at the remote work site, the workpacks
are then executed, also using Coabis.
The Desktop Planner is also utilised –
this is an integral Coabis tool, enabling users to plan work based
on vessel location, and how much work is outstanding within a defined
radius of the vessel’s position. By entering vessel co-ordinates,
users can quickly see which nearby assets have outstanding work,
and plan offshore operations accordingly.
